Local Government Consulting
Social Value World worked closely with Lambeth’s youth commissioners to develop and roll out the 2019-21 Early Intervention and Prevention funding programme (£1.4m over 2 years) for the VCSE sector.
This included designing and co-hosting market information events, engaging in community consultations (with youth service providers), consulting on the consortium commissioning model strategy, setting the outcomes framework and creating the online funding application and project monitoring portals.
Following the selection of successful service providers (by a decision making panel), Social Value World led the design of an analytical system to closely examine and ensure parity between service providers across the borough. This involved examining applications closely and meeting with successful applicants to iron out discrepancies in their submissions, with the result that both commissioners and providers were fully satisfied with the full scope of delivery expectations (outputs, outcomes, demographics etc.) ahead of formal contract agreement. Furthermore, this served to provide a baseline for contract performance measurement.
Social Value World also worked closely with the London Borough of Lambeth’s youth services commissioners to design and open the new CLIPs funding programme (£420k over 2 years) aimed at developing VCSE sector (youth providers) resilience and sustainability.
Social Value World are currently commissioned by Lambeth Public Health to provide Capacity Building and Fundraising support for VCSE groups tackling food poverty in the borough.

Adam has been integral to the development of two large projects; project management and commissioning of the £1.4m 2019-2021 Early Intervention and Prevention Services for Children and Young People in Lambeth and the design and implementation of the CLIPs Fund worth £420k over 2 years; aimed at building the resilience and sustainability of VCSE groups. He has consulted across outcomes framework designs, writing of tenders and guidelines, the application process and designing the online application forms. This involved working with diverse stakeholder groups at every level. His work is meticulous, high quality and excellent value for money. His passion and diligence resulted in over 50 organisations receiving funding up to this point and I would fully recommend his services, skill and diligence". Tom Cunningham, Commissioning, London Borough of Lambeth
